We keep in stock many items to help you control and eliminate pesky fleas and other bugs. You do not need to resort to heavy chemicals to control the flea population in your home and yard. You may spray your lawn and garden area with a solution of 1 part Lemon Joy dishwashing liquid to 18 parts water.  This solution destroys the protective coating on the flea and destroys it, at the same time giving needed nutrients to the lawn. Another alternative is to sprinkle garden grade diatomaceous earth around the yard. Keep the dogs off as much as possible for a couple of days, then back to normal and give the yard a good hosing. The powder is to the flea like walking on a glass bed.  It will not cut the dogs paws.  I have used this technique for many years and have never had a problem.

In the home you can try several means of controlling fleas.  My personal choice is a product called Fleabusters.  It is a once-a-year carpet powder that is harmless unless you ingest about a pound of it, but then chocolate has the same effect. This product is safe for children and pets, I have never had a problem and I suffer from asthma.
